Government of Bangladesh

Eminence has developed a healthy working relationship with the Government of Bangladesh and its various Ministries and Directorates. We have undertaken an action research for National Institute of Local Government (NILG) to identify learning and innovations in promoting hygiene, water supply and sanitation among the poor and the poorest in Bangladesh. The establishment of community clinics is one of the top priority programs of the present government and there is a plan to gradually establish 18,000 community clinics in the rural area with a community clinic for every 6,000 people. Revitalizing of Community Health Care Initiatives in Bangladesh (RCHCIB) by Ministry of Health and Family Welfare and Eminence have arrived at an understanding and agreed to collaborate with the objective to support/assist the 3,191 community clinics from 95 Upazilas of 11 Districts of the country. Determinants of patient–provider interfacing was a study that Eminence had conducted with support from the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS). Also, with support from National Nutrition Programme (NNP), Eminence had conducted a research on Determinant of Exclusive Breast Feeding in Bangladesh.

Bangladesh National Nutrition Council (BNNC)

Eminence Associates for Social Development started working with Bangladesh National Nutrition Council (BNNC) from the month of June 2020 in order to provide support on a volunteer basis to promote and raise nutrition awareness among the people of Bangladesh. Since then, Eminence has been actively engaging on the BNNC official social media sites activities such as; conducting webinars, uploading and sharing relevant posts, as well as inviting people to like, comment, and share them. As Eminence is a non-profit, non-government organization working in public health, nutrition research, and development and Bangladesh National Nutrition Council is the designated body coordinating nutrition activities of 22 ministries and other stakeholders since 1975, the interest of both the organization paves the same path. Keeping that view in mind, BNNC has signed an MoU with Eminence on 23 February 2021 for the next three years (from 01 March 2021 to 28 February 2023). The objective of this MoU is to provide technical assistance to BNCC for promoting nutrition through social and different mass media activities. Moreover, it is also expected that this MoU will enhance knowledge and evidence-based activities for policy-level engagement.

Bangladesh Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (BCSIR)

Bangladesh Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (BCSIR) is an autonomous organization under the Ministry of Science and Technology, Government of Bangladesh. Its main objective is to pursue scientific research for the betterment of the Bangladeshi people. BCSIR was established on 16 November 1973. BCSIR has expertise in Mineral and Mineralogical Services; Renewable Energy; Bioequivalence Study; Biomaterials, Biochemicals and Biofuel (Biorefinery); and Materials and Metallurgical Science and Engineering. It also offers the following technologies/expertise: Arsenic Test Kit; Development of Mineral Water; Aluminium Recycling; Ammonia Free Deliming Agent for Leather Processing; Leather Dyeing Techniques; Diabetic Foot Wear for Diabetic Patients; and Footwear Insole Material from Leather Shaving Dust. BCSIR offers one post-doctoral fellowship for COMSATS Member States. BCSIR is looking for research collaborations in Nanotechnology; Renewable Energy; Food Science and Technology; Herbal Medicine and Medicinal Plant; Biorefinery; and Biotechnology.

Friends of Cancer Patients (FoCP)

Friends of Cancer Patients (FoCP) is a non-profit society, founded in 1999 under the directives and patronage of Her Highness Sheikha Jawaher Bint Mohammed Al Qasimi, Wife of the Ruler of Sharjah-UAE, Founder and Patron of the Friends of Cancer Patients, International Ambassador of the World Cancer Declaration for Union for International Cancer Control (UICC), International Ambassador for Childhood Cancer for UICC and Patron of the Global NCD Alliance Forum. FoCP is committed to helping cancer patients and their families get through the long and arduous journey of cancer treatment. Since its inception, FoCP has delivered moral and financial support to cancer patients and their families, irrespective of their nationality, gender, age, religion, or ethnicity. FoCP promotes and supports the rights and needs of people affected by NCDs. The organization also encourages them and their families to engage in heightening everyone’s awareness on the prevention, treatments, and solutions to NCDs.

Gazipur City Corporation (GCC)

Gazipur City Corporation established in 2013, is one of the city corporations of Bangladesh. Before its establishment as a city corporation, it was a municipal corporation. Basically, Gazipur City Corporation is a formation under the local government administration of Bangladesh to regulate the city area of Gazipur, which is under the Ministry of Local Government & Rural Development (LGRD). Eminence has developed a partnership with Gazipur City Corporation (GCC) by signing an MoU on 23rd November 2020 for joint implementation of development projects. According to this partnership, these two entities will jointly work for the establishment of a central hospital and community-based pharmacies in nine wards of GCC.

Begum Rokeya University, Rangpur (BRUR), Bangladesh

Eminence and Begum Rokeya University, Rangpur, Bangladesh has developed a partnership on 28th December 2020 through signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). The partnership is aiming towards expanding research opportunities for staff and employees of both institutions. This partnership is professional cooperation of mutual benefit which serves to establish development ties between two institutions. This includes students and staff exchange respectively from BRUR and Eminence for study and research, coordination of joint research, lectures, and training, development of mutually beneficial programs and courses, improving and proportioning research support services in sports, etc

Kristiania University College, Norway

Kristiania University College, Norway and Eminence has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on November 3rd, 2020. The general purpose of this agreement is to establish a Faculty and Student Exchange arrangement, subsequently using this as a basis for further cooperation within all areas of interest, including program development, joint research projects, cooperation on workshops, and other relevant projects. Both the institutions will receive the master’s students for 3 months practicum during the autumn semester. The faculty members will visit throughout the academic year.

American College of Cardiology

International Centre for Migration, Health and Development (ICMHD)

The International Centre for Migration, Health and Development is a Swiss-based non-profit institution that was established in 1995. Its mandate is to work on research, training and policy advocacy in all areas related to migration and health. It is a WHO Collaborating Centre for health-related issues among people displaced by conflict and disaster.
