World Health Organization(WHO) is a specialized agency of the United Nations, responsible for international public health. World Health Organization works in more than 150 countries to promote health, keep the world safe, and serve the vulnerable. WHO staff work side by side with governments and other partners to ensure the highest attainable level of health for all people

The United Nations World Food Programme is the 2020 Nobel Peace Prize Laureate. It is one of the largest humanitarian organizations, saving lives in emergencies and using food assistance to build a pathway to peace, stability, and prosperity for people recovering from conflict, disasters, and the impact of climate change. Eminence conducted several research activities for WFP on nutrition and food security issues in 2013 and 2017 in coastal regions of Bangladesh.

UNICEF works in some of the world’s toughest places, to reach the world’s most disadvantaged children to save their lives, defend their rights, and help them fulfill their potential. UNICEF works across 190 countries and territories. Eminence worked with Unicef to develop a model on workplace-based breastfeeding and IYCF improvement. This project was intended to provide an environment for workers to improve breastfeeding and complementary feeding practice.

UNDP offers a nearly universal presence across the world. With a focus on the poorest and most vulnerable they are determined to mobilize the means to implement the 2030 Agenda through a revitalized Global Partnership for Sustainable Development. An evaluation survey for UNDP was carried out by Eminence to document the progress of the disaster management project in Bangladesh.

The NCD Alliance (NCDA) is leading the way to a world free from preventable suffering, disability, and death caused by non-communicable diseases (NCDs). It is also a unique civil society network uniting 2,000 civil society organizations in more than 170 countries. Eminence as a secretariat of Bangladesh Non-Communicable Diseases Forum (BNCDF) developed an initiative that was supported by the Global NCD Alliance developed under the Civil Society Solidarity Fund for NCDS and COVID-19.

World Heart Federation is the global body that is dedicated to the fight against cardiovascular disease via a united community of over 200 member organizations. The vision is to reduce premature cardiovascular disease-related death globally by at least 25% by 2025. Their actions are aligned with World Health Organization Global Action Plan for non-communicable diseases.

The International Centre for Migration, Health and Development(ICMHD) is a Swiss-based non-profit institution that was established in 1995. Its mandate is to work on research, training and policy advocacy in all areas related to migration and health. It is a WHO Collaborating Centre for health-related issues among people displaced by conflict and disaster.

HRIDAY is a Non Profit Organisation which promotes sustainable health. HRIDAY engages in multi-disciplinary research, capacity building and undertakes campaigns linked to the prevention and control of Non-Communicable Diseases (NCDs). HRIDAY has been instrumental in designing, implementing and evaluating school health programmes and strategies to promote youth participation in addressing health related issues and sharing successful programme methods with others interested in similar goals.

Save the Children is the world’s leading independent organization for children. They work in around 120 countries with the vision to live in a world in which every child attains the right to survival, protection, development and participation. With Save the Children USA, Eminence conducted a Governance Assessment of the GFATM (the Global Fund) Partners in the year 2009. Eminence has also developed Essential Handbook for the Health Staff of Save the Children (USA), Handbook of Occupational Health, Training Manual on Adolescent Health, and Training Manual for Communication Skill Development.

ICF Macro and Measure

ICF Macro and Measure DHS have supported Eminence with the project titled Improving the Health, Nutrition and Population Indicators of Bangladesh through the workshop with grassroots level key stakeholders in a low performing based on BDHS findings.

Alive & Thrive (A&T) is a 5-year initiative (2009-2013) to improve infant and young child nutrition by increasing rates of exclusive breastfeeding and improving complementary feeding practices. Eminence is currently implementing operational research “Assessing the cost-effectiveness of training and supervision of frontline workers on early breastfeeding practices” with financial assistance from Alive and Thrive Small Grants program and managed by the University of California, Davis.

GMMB is a full-service, strategic communications agency with more than 170 seasoned communications professionals. Over the last 20 years, GMMB has earned a reputation for creating highly effective communications campaigns and providing top-level public relations counsel and support to nonprofit organizations, foundations, major associations, corporations, and federal and state governments. Eminence has recently collaborated with GMMB to connecting the media of Bangladesh with Child Nutrition.

ActionAid Bangladesh is to work with poor people to eliminate poverty and injustice. ActionAid Bangladesh has become a relatively important player of the vibrant NGO movement that seeks to fight poverty in the country. Today ActionAid is committed to changing the capacities of people and groups whose rights have been denied and violated in attaining justice and a life of dignity. Eminence did a Health Mapping of Bangladesh with ActionAid in the year 2006.

Care Bangladesh targets three of the poorest and most vulnerable groups in Bangladesh in order to achieve sustainable social, economic, and political impacts on their lives: women and girls, the rural extreme-poor, and marginalized urban populations. Eminence has so far conducted Baseline Survey of Competitive Literacy Initiative Project for CARE in the year 2007, a scoping study of Water and Sanitation for Urban Poor (WSUP), a rapid assessment of water and sanitation for Urban Poor.

Concern World Wide is a UK-based international NGO for which Eminence has conducted a survey with Concern Universal in the year 2008 titled Community Perspectives on Water and Sanitation towards Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR) and the final evaluation of the Community-based disaster risk reduction project in Barguna and Patuakhali. In Bangladesh, Eminence has worked with Concern Worldwide to conduct an End line Evaluation on Knowledge Practice and Coverage of Urban Nutrition and Household Food Security programs in the year 2007.

Marie Stopes Bangladesh (MSB) is a leading NGO affiliated with Marie Stopes International (MSI), UK, which supports programme in 42 countries providing a full range of sexual and reproductive health (SRH) services to urban, peri-urban and rural community. Eminence has conducted an evaluation survey of Block Grant Project, two baseline surveys for the MSB-Plan Urban Health Project, and the European Commission Co-financing Project on Sexual and Reproductive Health.

Nutrition International (formerly the Micronutrient Initiative) is a global organization dedicated to delivering proven nutrition interventions to those who need them most. Eminence has a long working relationship with MI/NI. Major assignments undertaken for MI are: Follow-up Study of Iron & Folate Supplementation for Adolescent Girls to reduce Anemia, end line evaluation of Iron & Folate Supplementation for Adolescent Girls to reduce Anemia, and Monitoring and evaluation of Iron & Folate Supplementation for Adolescent Girls to reduce Anemia.

Plan Bangladesh encourages children and young people to be leaders in their communities and drive progress on the issues that matter to them. It aims to integrate gender equality and inclusion across all our areas of work. Eminence, in 2005, conducted a Baseline Survey of Integrated Nutrition Project (INP) for Plan Bangladesh. In 2008, an assessment of Post Disaster Food Security and Nutritional Status of Children Aged under Five was conducted by Eminence.

WaterAid has been operating in Bangladesh since 1986 as one of the effective actors in Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) sector. In 2006, an Evaluation of Arsenic Mitigation Program was conducted by Eminence. Later in 2007, Eminence did an assessment of Response of Local government Institutions (LGIs)/Public Service Delivery Institutions (PSDIs) in Response to the Community Demand Creation for WaterAid Bangladesh.

Social Marketing Company (SMC) is one of the largest partners of the Government of Bangladesh for its contribution in the field of health and family planning sector. SMC started its journey as the Family Planning Social Marketing Project (FPSMP) funded by USAID with a view to addressing the rapid population growth in Bangladesh. Several evaluation and training projects were implemented by Eminence for SMC in different parts of Bangladesh. Evaluation surveys included Blue Star Project, Maternal and Child Health Project, etc.

Action Against Hunger (ACF International) is an international humanitarian organization committed to ending world hunger. ACF saves the lives of malnourished children while providing communities with access to safe water and sustainable solutions to hunger. Eminence participated in a case study together with Action Contre la Faim (ACF) or Action Against Hunger, in the Lalmonirhat and Shunamgonj district of Bangladesh together with Bangladesh Centre for Advanced Studies (BCAS).

The Population Reference Bureau informs people around the world about population, health, and the environment. PRB analyzes complex demographic data and research to provide the most objective, accurate, and up-to-date population information in a format that is easily understood by advocates, journalists, and decision makers alike. Along with PRB and IPHN, Eminence is facilitating the RENEW projects with an objective to prepare it as strong advocacy tool.

Population Action International (PAI) is an international, non-governmental organization that uses research and advocacy to improve global access to family planning and reproductive health care. PAI promotes economic development, health and environmental sustainability through funding for family-planning and sexual and reproductive health services worldwide. PAI’s research and analysis focus on key issues in reproductive-health policy.

United Group is now one of the largest socio-economic infrastructure-based company in Bangladesh. UECL has a diverse investment portfolio spanning from power generation to healthcare, education, real-estate, construction, port, yarn spinning, specialized services, shipping & logistics among others.

Care Medical College Hospital is a private medical school in Asad Gate, Mohammadpur, Dhaka, Bangladesh. The college grew out of CARe Specialized Hospital. It is affiliated with University of Dhaka as a constituent college. The college offers a five-year course of study leading to a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree. CWCH goal is to promote the overall development of women and children with particular emphasis on their health and nutrition and also uphold institutional values to exercise patients, their relatives, visitors with empathy outlook and achieve satisfactions. CWCH is committed towards quality services at minimum cost.

Servier is a global pharmaceutical group governed by a Foundation. Servier is an independent group that invests over 20% of its brand-name revenue in Research and Development every year. To promote access to healthcare for all, the Servier Group also offers a range of quality generic drugs covering most pathologies. A community-based effectiveness of a hypertension drug study was conducted by Eminence for Servier Bangladesh Ltd in 2007.

Roche Bangladesh Limited is an affiliate of Roche Group which was founded in 1896 in Basel, Switzerland. Since 1998, Roche is bringing latest treatment solutions for patients, suffering from cancer, anaemia, transplant, viral and immunological diseases in Bangladesh. Roche Bangladesh also supported local hospitals to build center of excellence for HER2, a biomarker testing for breast cancer. Eminence conducted different advocacy activities with Roche Bangladesh through the partnership for Cancer prevention, treatment in Bangladesh.
