The main focus of the event is to promote adolescent nutrition, preventing early marriage and leadership development in Bangladesh. The purpose of this convention was to engage the national leaders, policy makers, ministries and line departments, development partners, UN agencies, civil society organizations, NGOs, research/academia and private sectors to share experiences and commitments to improve access to food, health, education, nutrition and social services for all adolescents in Bangladesh. The convention was inaugurated by Asaduzzaman Khan, Miniter of Home Affairs, Bangladesh. He stated that adolescent participation should be encouraged in all activities in society. We believe this initiative will be stronger more by this event. The guests gave their valuable suggestions to the youngsters to build themselves as successful people. They expect, all of the adolescent girls will be more aware of early marriage, adolescent health and nutrition and they will be able to awaken leadership attitude among themselves.
