Learning Health issues for practicing health journalism is a demanding issue for the journalist. Journalists play a crucial role in the health system particularly in public health. However, in practicality the spectrum of health journalism in the country has yet to reach its optimum level. The reason behind this is the fact that journalists have limited access and adequate understanding on various technical information’s about health issues from reliable sources.

With this context, Eminence, in association with MEASURE DHS, Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health and USAID, is on the process of developing eToolkit (both online and offline version) for the health journalists. The main objective of the eToolkit is to make the health journalists aware of different health issues in Bangladesh so that they can take part in disseminating right and appropriate information to the mass. After completing the eToolkit, this project aims to organize different workshops in media houses across the country and will made some study circle in universities where Journalism, communication and public health are taught.
